New to LEAD this year is the first of what will become a series of capacity building workshops. These hands-on sessions are open to individuals who work with arts administrators to provide high-quality accessibility services. Our inaugural seminar will train new describers and provide professional development for those who are experienced.
This year’s conference will be dynamic–with topical, invigorating, exciting and innovative workshops and sessions.

- In-depth sessions on accessible on-line ticketing (20% Discount for INTIX members)
- A look at the newest technologies for access to museums, exhibitions
- The role of social networking and media in reaching out to audiences
- A review of the legal and topical compliance issues with federal disailbity rights laws
- Surviving the economic downturn with creative fundraising
- Training techniques to improve customer service
- Special focus on accessible Exhibition Design
